My professor made a point to tell us that "shi tang" (cafeteria) almost always has the connotation of being in a work place. She said it's similar to how "mess hall" almost always has the connotation of being associated with the military. She knows I used to work for Cheng & Tsui and asked that I suggest changing the english definition to you guys.
