Digital audio for older titles

How about offering the audio for older titles like Beyond the Basics and A New Text for a Modern China in a more modern format than audio cassette? It's my understanding CDs containing MP3s is much cheaper to produce than cassettes, and it's almost 2008 what percentage of your language learners even have a cassette player?
Hi, wrbt. Thanks for adding your suggestion here. Although our production team is continually converting audio cassettes and VHS tapes into CDs and DVDs when possible, some of our older material remains in the old format until the time comes to revise the text. It's true that, besides language labs, few individuals have cassette players anymore!
I'm glad you've mentioned two of our outstanding advanced-level books. Both Beyond the Basics and A New Text for a Modern China are in the process of major revisions, and have projected publication dates in 2008 (the latter under a new title: Reading into a New China).
