1. Dressing Up:
Dress students in traditional Chinese costumes (contact a local Chinese Cultural Association for renting costumes). If no costumes are available, students should wear new clothes in bright colors.
2. Making Paper Fireworks:
a. Find some thick and shiny red paper.
b. Cut the red paper into ten 4"x 6" pieces.
c. Roll the paper into 6"-long cylinders.
d. Stuff the cylinders with tissue paper.
e. Punch a hole through the side of each cylinder.
f. Thread firecrackers together using red string.
